This training program focuses on perimeter containment of Fleeing Subjects while utilizing Man-Tracking skills, deploying K-9, utilization of aviation support, and possibly LPOP’s (Listening Points / Observation Points). These techniques are also utilized for Lost and Missing Persons.

The Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) course was developed from the military Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training. TECC is adapted to provide operators with battlefield proven trauma care information and techniques due to hostile action, particularly penetrating trauma.
The Michigan State Police, Traffic Crash Reporting Unit has contracted with a vendor, Numetric, to develop a new traffic crash analysis and visualization application. This course is designed for those individuals who will be making strategic decisions on how to address crash issues.
