This class covers the mandated standards developed for Public Act 552 of 2018.  The act added section 609e to the MCOLES act mandating active violence training for all licensed law enforcement officers in Michigan.

The Below 100 Program is designed to drastically reduce law enforcement Line of Duty Deaths (LODD’s).  The Below 100 Program specifically addresses the operational areas of law enforcement that contribute to the greatest number of LODD’s but are in large part preventable.

Tactical Field Operations – Man Tracking

This training program focuses on perimeter containment of Fleeing Subjects while utilizing Man-Tracking skills, deploying K-9, utilization of aviation support, and possibly LPOP’s (Listening Points / Observation Points).
