NEW METHODS TO SOLVE COLD CASES AND OTHER MAJOR CRIMES.

This seminar will include a review of current legislation affecting law enforcement as well as an update on Search & Seizure, Laws of Arrest, Interviews, and Search Warrant issues.

The purpose of this course is to provide participants with useful information and resources that will assist them in conducting a thorough background investigation.

The purpose of this two-day class is to familiarize law enforcement and prosecutors, with techniques, devices and programs that can be utilized to extract digital data for criminal investigations.

Participants will be provided instruction on the requirements of the Michigan Freedom of Information Act as they pertain to governmental agencies in general, with emphasis on the provisions in the Act specifically relevant to law enforcement agencies.
