ADVANCED MAN TRACKING
Prerequisite: Participants must have successfully completed the “Man Tracking” class offered by the LEORTC.
This two-day training is designed for all officers, supervisors, and command staff, and builds on the principles and techniques taught in the basic training which include.
Our advanced instruction will focus on “command & control” practices and utilizing formations and skills learned in the basic course. Most of the training is scenario based and will be outside in a variety of conditions and areas. Be prepared for a lot of physical activity in various terrains. Participants will physically cover more ground than the basic course.
Participants must bring a portable radio and be prepared to secure and “event channel” on day one. Additionally, you must dress appropriately for the conditions and physical activity (including footwear and headwear).

the M.S.P. MSP Emergency Support Team Member for 26 years. Level II
Certified Man-Tracking Instructor.
Richard Casanova, U.S.M.C. – Infantry / Intel Field – 10 years. MSP
Emergency Support Team Member for 18 years. Retired after 23 years of
service with the MSP.
