INFORMATION:
Peter Schloop, the Resident Agent in Charge of the Saginaw Resident Office has arranged for presentations from the National Threat Assessment Center (NTAC) and from the Critical Protective Analysis Group (CPAG) based out of Washington, D.C. to come to Frankenmuth for a one day training opportunity. With active violence incidents continuing to threaten our communities, we must familiarize ourselves with threat assessment strategies and protective analysis techniques to improve our ability to detect and identify potential threats.
COURSE INFORMATION:
The NTAC presentation covers issues relating to the identification of threats, investigating unusual behaviors, assessing threats, managing risks, and uses case studies. The CPAG presentation covers terrorist trends and tactics that affect the protection of soft targets (schools), hard targets (court houses), and VIPs.
