Microsoft Outlook 2016, an application of the Microsoft Office Suite, is an effective desktop information management program that helps you organize your schedule, keep track of your contacts, and communicate with others. Users of Outlook can track meetings, e-mail messages, appointments and contacts. Outlook provides a way for individuals and workgroups to organize, find, view and share information easily. An understanding of the Microsoft Outlook application is essential in the Municipal environment.
Participants will receive a notebook and ‘thumb drive’ with the course presented in the computer lab allowing a hands-on approach to the training. This is a two day course which is held on Fridays, with a week separation to allow for the participant to utilize their information from the first day to become more familiar with the program’s abilities.
Instructor: Michael Richardson has over 30 years of law enforcement and municipal government experience. He has over 30 years of teaching experience. He currently teaches for Oakland Community College and Macomb Community College. He has a Bachelors Degree in Business and an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and General Business. He has been an instructor for LEORTC many years and continuously receives high marks for his teaching style and information presented to all.

Dates and Times: This is a two day course, Friday October 5, 2018 8:30am – 4:30pm and then again on Friday October 12, 2018 8:30am – 4:30pm.
