Presented by the Genesee Health System, training is funded through a SAMHSA CCBHC Expansion Grant.
Topics: Responding to individuals with active homicidal/suicidal ideation, the needs of vulnerable populations in our community (victims of domestic violence, Alzheimer’s/Dementia, foster youth, veterans, etc.), mental health 101, officer wellness, substance use, and other related topics.
Included: Daily lunch, snacks, and coffee
Dress Code: Relaxed Monday-Thursday, Uniforms required on Friday.

Please Note: During the role plays, which will be approximately 4 hours on Thursday and Friday, all guns and weapons will be required to be locked up to ensure safety. Masks will be required. We are able to accommodate a maximum of 16 law enforcement officers for this training.
