Microsoft Excel Level I

Microsoft Excel Level I is an 8-hour class and a prerequisite for Microsoft Excel Level II which is being offered on March 29, 2019. With the loss of support staff and the need for additional justification for resources, it is essential that information is presented in an understandable and data driven format.  Excel provides the vehicle for you and your staff to accomplish that mission.

This class will be conducted in the computer lab and will combine presentation with a step-by step hands-on learning for an adult learning experience. Participants will actually build and work with Excel documents.

Topics included in this class are:

• An orientation to Microsoft Office Excel Functions,                      • Formatting and Enhancing Worksheets
• Working with Electronic Spreadsheets                                           • Working with Formulas and Functions
• Creating Worksheets, Entering and Editing Data                         • Printing Worksheets
• Working with Charts                                                                      • Manipulating Worksheet Data

Mike has over 30 year of Law Enforcement/Municipal and teaching experience. He is currently instructing at the Oakland Community College and Macomb Community College, Advanced Training Facilities.
